Message: Friendly staff, with a good selection of convenience items.. There's no pay at the pump, which is a bit of a pain when there's lots of sledders waiting to fill up, but not a massive inconvenience.

Message: Just your regular old market store, one of the big things I liked about this place is of course being a market it had more then what most regular stores have but also had gas which makes it a one stop shop when traveling a pretty long distance. Looks like since all the other pictures where posted here there has also been some changes to the look.

Message: We coasted in on fumes from driving all day from Newberry to Munising to Beaver Basin, and then into Grand Marais only to find out they closed at 9 on the Sunday night before Labor Day. A lady at the bar across the street let us know the owner would come down in cases of emergency. He came, cashed out everything and reopened the pumps to let us and 2 other cars pump gas! I am extremely grateful, and offered a monetary tip to him for reopening and he declined! In these tough times he declined! With a heart of Gold he saved this dad of 2 that night, THANK YOU SO MUCH! The gesture will be retold over the years as the time dad took us on a crazy day of adventure! We had emergency trails through the forest, emergency gas, emergency french fries at the bar, and to top it off the Northern Lights on the beach in Grand Marais that night! Helluva story to pass down, and the best $65 of gas I've ever had the pleasure of buying from a man who reopened his store!

Message: Best employees ever. The woman who helped us was the most amazing person ever. We were out of gas and showed up just after closing. She let us pump gas and was so nice. Best place ever.

Message: We were visiting and traveling Grand Marais, when we cut it too close with the gas gauge. Luckily the owner saw us early this morning and opened up an hour early just to help us out. Many thanks! Keep in mind, if your traveling this area; alot of the business hours are effected by the covid regulations. It will be difficult to find lodging and basic necessities if you find yourself outside of local business hours.
